Do you have a need or know of someone with a need?

In light of current circumstances with COVID-19 (coronavirus), we know that there are needs in or near the HEB community, and we intend to do everything we can to meet them.

Interested in helping meet needs?

We will be partnering with 6 Stones to help our community during this unusual time. Some are unable to work, and others are confined to their homes to avoid exposure to the virus. The people of Cross City can help! Here are three simple things that we can do: give, serve, and pray!

1) Serve

We will coordinate with 6 Stones Mission Network in the packaging and distribution of the food and supplies. We will also be encouraging and praying with our neighbors. Please wear your Cross City Church gear if you have any, and volunteer with others from our community!

6 Stones Volunteer Opportunities

• Monday - 10am-1pm
• Tuesday - 3pm-6pm
• Wednesday - 10am-1pm
• Saturday - 9am-12pm

**When you come to volunteer, please report to the back of the building in the warehouse (near the sand volleyball courts).

2) Pray

Ask the Lord to bring His peace, comfort, and healing during this time.

a. Ask God, in His mercy, to stop this pandemic and save lives -- not only in our communities but around the world, particularly in places that are unequipped medically to deal with the virus. (Isaiah 59:1-2)

b. Pray for our President and other government leaders -- international, federal, state, and local -- to have the wisdom to direct us in the best courses of action for prevention and care. (Romans 13:1–4)

c. Scripture says: Teach us to number our days carefully so that we may develop wisdom in our hearts. Pray that the Lord will give us wisdom in this moment of fear as the foundations of what we know are shaken, that others would realize how fragile life is and how real eternity is, and they would see their need to turn to God. (Psalm 90:12)

d. Ask God to protect our community members and families around the Metroplex, using this global crisis to advance His Good News to the whole world. (Matthew 28:19-20)
