Communications Assistant & Project Coordinator

Full-Time

Cross City Church is searching for someone to join our team full-time as Communications Assistant & Project Coordinator at our Euless campus. Under the direction and oversight of our Executive Pastor of Communications, this individual will provide general administrative support and project management for the Communications Department.

Our next great team member will use their skills to manage requests of the Creative Department, manage finances, as well as update our database, website, and other communication tools. They will also serve as chief proofreader. 

Requirements:

  • Have a personal, growing relationship with Christ
  • Passion for God and personal consistent practice of spiritual disciplines
  • Alignment with Cross City’s beliefs, as outlined in the Baptist Faith and Message (2000), and especially the 7 beliefs covering The Bible, The Trinity, Jesus Christ, The Holy Spirit, Man, Salvation, The Second Coming, and Marriage
  • Previous employment in an administrative assistant or project coordinator role
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Data management experience preferred, with training available
  • Writing, proofing, and editing skills,
  • Ability to communicate well with internal team members and external partners

This position will:

  • Organize projects, tasks and information within the Communication Department
  • Provide excellent service to our ministries and members
  • Coordinate Communication and IT projects, identifying time and resources needed
  • Write, edit, and proof for various things, including web, social media, advertising, and print pieces
  • Update the website based on request, as well as maintain accurate informaation
  • Serve as the church management software administrator, maintaining accurate data, providing training, and monitoring for process execution
  • Manage department finances and scheduling
  • Assist the Executive Pastor of Communications with general operation
  • Other duties as assigned

Communications Film & Story Associate

Full-Time

Cross City Church is searching for someone to join our team full-time as Film & Story Associate at our Euless campus. Under the direction and oversight of our Executive Pastor of Communications, this individual will craft moving stories using video/film formats, providing support to worship services and other church events. They will oversee all film and story projects church-wide, partnering with our various ministries to meet video and photography needs. The Film & Story Associate will play a key part in event promotion by creating compelling stories that engage and draw-in potential participants. They will collaborate with the Communications team to facilitate a cohesive and excellent church-wide communication strategy.

Our next great team member will use their skills to support Cross City’s mission, vision, and guiding principles through creative storytelling, videography, and photography. Join our team!

Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate well with internal team members and external partners
  • Consistent history of active Christian church membership and participation

This position will:

  • Be responsible for cultivating a culture of storytelling by developing and executing strategies to proactively find and tell stories across multiple platforms and in partnership with our ministry teams
  • Encourage and develop excellency and alignment in all Cross City Church film/video products
  • Complete film/video requests, including regular Worship Service and sermon materials and event promotions
  • Capture video and photos for events and services, and help maintain a team of supporting volutneers
  • Work with the XP of Communication and Technology to Maintain standards of photo and film church-wide
  • Produce weekly video annoucements
  • Support social media strategy with photo and video content
  • Other duties as assigned

Childcare Worker

Part-Time / As Needed

Cross City’s Euless Campus is searching for individuals to join our team as Childcare Workers. Our childcare team provides safe and intentional care to the youngest members of Cross City. Our team members are trained on child safety procedures, provided with Biblically sound curriculum and activities for childcare events, and assist with the cleaning and sanitation of our preschool and kids ministry spaces. All childcare team positions are part-time and schedules are determined based on Sunday, Wednesday, and special event needs. Join us!

Requirements:

  • Called to serve the church
  • Passion for sharing Biblical truths with kids
  • High level of integrity and adherence to safety standards and procedures
  • Ability to complete physical tasks such as movement of materials, bending, lifting (up to 50lbs), standing, walking, etc.
