The Journey

The North Campus of Cross City Church was launched to reach people in the rapidly growing region north of Fort Worth. Since we started in 2019, we have used schools and other rented facilities as places for worship and ministry, asking volunteers to unload (and reload) two trailers of equipment and supplies each week. Believing in the cause, our people have remained committed and have worked tirelessly to be part of the mission!!!

The Journey

A Vision to Reach People

Together, we launched The North Campus of Cross City Church to reach people in the rapidly growing region north of Fort Worth. Since we started in 2019, we have used schools and other rented facilities as places for worship and ministry, asking volunteers to unload (and reload) two trailers of equipment and supplies each week. Believing in the cause, our people have remained committed and have worked tirelessly to be part of the mission.

The Permanent Home

Over the last six years, the campus has moved six times as we’ve prayed for a permanent home. By God’s provision through people who believed in the vision of reaching this growing region, we were able to purchase land. On May 23, 2024, we acquired the site that will become our new center of ministry. You can read more about our destination in the Destination section below.

Becoming the Alliance Campus

A New Focused Campus Name

The “North” name was selected to provide flexibility, allowing us to change locations as needed while keeping our focus on reaching people. The new permanent location is in the heart of the Alliance region, which will see more than 10,000 homes built in the years ahead. We can now give the campus a more specific name that aligns with the area we will reach. We’ll start using the new “Cross City Church – Alliance Campus” name immediately as we prepare to build our new home for ministry.

The Destination

Prime Location for Reaching People

The new permanent location is poised to reach the many who already live in the Alliance region, as well as others from all over the nation as they move in. Master-planned developments and recently constructed homes surround the centrally located land, easily accessible to hundreds of thousands of people.

What's My Part?

Start with prayer!

Any undertaking of this significance starts with prayer. For many years, Cross City has looked to three prayers as we’ve asked God to guide us.

1) Lord, is this of you?

2) Lord, what’s my part?

3) Lord, bless your people so that we may give!

Let’s all prayerfully begin considering what we’ll do to help us make this project a reality!

Attend the Business Meeting

On November 17, we’ve called a business meeting to vote to move ahead with the next steps.

Get details below.

The Church’s Budget and Finance Committee plans to make a motion to initiate construction of the North Campus’ new home. All progress to date has been from funds predesignated for this project and under the guidance of the Budget and Finance Committee and Trustees. As part of the accountability built into our bylaws and our desire to move ahead with unity, decisions of this significance require a vote.

A special business meeting will be held immediately after the 6 pm Annual Business Meeting on November 17 in the Euless Campus Chapel to propose the following for church approval:

  1. Use cash reserves (beyond cash held for ongoing operations) authorized by the Church’s Budget and Finance Committee (currently estimated to be $1m);
  2. Enter into construction and related contracts that do not exceed $8.5m in total;
  3. Secure construction financing (e.g., a line of credit) until the end of the capital campaign and completion of construction.

We invite all Cross City members to join us for this meeting. You can read the full proposed motion below.

Make a Commitment

We’re encouraging each person to prayerfully consider a three-year financial commitment. This usually involves choosing an overall amount to be given in regular installments. Other commitment options include making a one-time donation, transfer of stock, or other types of gifts. For help with other types of gifts, contact give@crosscity.church.

The North Campus is leading the way! In October of 2024, they made commitments and began to give. Now, we’ll invite all of Cross City to join the effort.

How do I make a commitment?

We’re encouraging everyone to make their commitments starting February 9.  You can do this in person on the Euless Campus or by clicking this link. You are also welcome to contact Chris Muckleroy to make your commitment or ask questions.

If you are a member of our North Campus, we appreciate the commitments you’ve already made! It’s never too late to make a commitment, so reach out to Chris Muckleroy to get started.

How do I give?

You can give in several ways, including in person on Sundays (cash or check), by mail (check), and online. Many people choose to maximize their gift through bank-generated check or by EFT. To explore other giving options, contact give@crosscity.church.
